As a key part of the WA Defence Plan, the McGowan Government introduced their plan to merge multiple training facilities that previously operated out of Henderson, WA, and combine them into one major training facility at the South Metropolitan TAFE Naval Base. The works undertaken span over 4,000 square meters and will provide students with an efficient and current learning environment. The project included industrial extractions and welding arm as part of the scope of works which required specialists in this field to actively be involved to ensure the delivery of the project was on time and prior to the beginning of the TAFE year.
